Bong County District One Rep. Devotes Pipe-Borne Water Project

BONG COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Representative of District One in Bong County, Prince Koinah, has dedicated a modern pipe-borne water project to residents of Zo-Wein-Ta and surrounding towns.

Representative Koinah said,” The initiative is part of an ongoing effort to ensure that citizens across the district have clean and safe drinking water”.

According to him, seventy-eight homes had already been connected to the water system, serving six different locations.

The Bong County Lawmaker emphasized that access to safe drinking water is essential in the fight against water-borne diseases.

He further assured the citizens of the district of his continued commitment to addressing social challenges confronting the district.

During the dedicatory ceremony over the weekend, residents of Zo-Wein-Ta laude the project, describing it as timely, especially amid the increasing pollution of local water sources.

At the same time, the Senator of Bong County, Prince Moye, has disclosed that concession companies operating in the county have made major commitments toward several development projects.

Senator Moye said,” Most of these projects are expected to begin this Dry Season, including road construction and the building of a major sports public park by ArcelorMittal Liberia”.

The Bong County Senator commended Representative Koinah for spearheading the water initiative and called on the citizens to take ownership of the facility to ensure its proper maintenance.

Senator Prince Moye then assured the residents that the Bong County Legislative Caucus will continue to champion development initiatives across the county through robust oversight.
