Pres. Boakai Makes Major Changes in Gov.

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has made major changes in the government affecting various line ministries and agencies.

The Ministries include Mines and Energy, Education, Gender, and the National Commission on Higher Education.

An Executive Mansion release named former Nimba County Lawmaker, Matenoky Tingban, and Sumo Momolu as Minister and Assistant Minister of Mines and Energy, respectively.

President Boakai also appointed Thomas Parker and Oscar Flomo as Deputy and Assistant Minister of Education for Planning, Research, and Development.

The Liberian Leader made similar appointments at the Liberia Airport Authority, the Civil Service Agency Board of Appeal, and the Liberia Immigration Service.

The release noted that these appointments, which are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate, are aimed at strengthening governance, improving institutional performance, and ensuring accountability and efficiency within the government.
