MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) has begun a nationwide assessment to get firsthand information on the working conditions of its staff assigned at the Tax Business Offices and Customs Business Offices across Liberia.
The Deputy Commissioner General for Administrative Affairs, Samuel Bennett, who is leading the team, urged staff of the entity to remain steadfast in collecting lawful revenues for Liberia, upon arrival over the weekend in Grand Bassa County.
Bennett thanked tax collectors assigned in Buchanan for their unwavering commitment to duty, while disclosing that the assignment is intended to address challenges and needs of LRA outstations and explore practical solutions through the 2026 national budget.
The Deputy Commissioner General also disclosed ongoing efforts to make informed decisions to improve working conditions and strengthen revenue collection throughout the country.
Meanwhile, LRA staff assigned to Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, have expressed appreciation for the visit, highlighting the need for renovations, improved logistics to help the entity achieve its one billion dollar goal.
