Pres. Boakai Urges Justices, Magistrates to Perform Duties with Utmost Dignity…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has urged justices and magistrates across Liberia to perform their duties with utmost dignity, humility, and courage.

According to President Boakai, the robe worn by all judicial actors is not a symbol of privilege but of service to the country and its people.

The Liberian Leader made the remarks in Monrovia on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the opening of the October Term of Court.

President Boakai pledged the Government of Liberia’s commitment to supporting an independent Judiciary in Liberia, ensuring the improvement of working conditions for all judges and magistrates.

The President also called for a stronger collaboration between the Judiciary, the Ministry of Justice, and the Liberia National Bar Association in pursuit of a more efficient and trusted Justice System.
