Pres. Boakai Declares Wednesday July 30 Nat’l Fast and Prayer Day

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has declared Wednesday, July 30, as National Fast and Prayer Day to be observed by all citizens.

President Boakai said,” The day is intended for Liberians from all walks of life to converge at their various places of worship to offer prayers and thanksgiving.”

The Liberian Leader said, “The day should also serve as a moment for citizens to renew their commitment to fostering national peace and unity.”

He made the declaration at the official celebration of Liberia’s 178th Independence Day program in Monrovia.

President Joseph Boakai also outlined ongoing improvements in major sectors of governance aimed at uplifting the lives of the people.
