MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has signed the Book of Condolence for former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari in Congo Town, outside Monrovia.

 The former Nigerian President died over the weekend in a London clinic.

Paying tributes to former President Buhari, President Boakai recounted the fallen Leader’s contributions to national unity, regional stability, and democratic governance.

The Liberian Leader said, “The former Liberian President’s decades of service to Nigeria and the African continent earned him reverence and admiration.”

In a message of condolence to his Nigerian counterpart, Bola Tinubu, over the weekend, President Boakai also expressed profound sympathy to the bereaved family and all Nigerians for the irreparable loss sustained
