Police Investigates Tragic Death of 45-Year-Old Liberian-Canadian Woman in Ben Town…

LOWER MARGIBI COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Liberia National Police (LNP) says it is investigating a tragic incident in which a forty-five-year-old Liberian-Canadian was discovered dead in her room.

The body of Madam Sianeh Goe Ricks, a resident of Ben Town in Lower Margibi County, was also burned beyond recognition.

The incident occurred on June 20, 2025.

According to Police Spokesperson Cecelia Clarke, the remains of Madam Goe-Ricks have since been buried due to the deplorable condition.

Meanwhile, the LNP says it has identified five individuals as persons of interest, and they are currently under investigation.

The Liberia National Police has since assured all residents that efforts are being made to uncover the facts and ensure that those responsible for the crime are brought to justice.
