MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Executive Mansion has announced the appointment of the Acting Deputy Managing Director for Technical Services at the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC).

He is Mohammed Sow, an experienced and qualified energy sector technician.

An Executive Mansion release says Mr. Sow’s leadership is expected to drive key technical improvements at the LEC, reinforcing the Corporation’s mission to provide reliable and affordable electricity to the Liberian people

President Boakai, in the release, expressed confidence that the appointee will work along with other members of the Acting Management Team in contributing to the Government’s efforts to enhance electricity supply and infrastructure development across the country.

The release quotes the Government as reaffirming its commitment to strengthening Liberia’s energy sector and ensuring sustainable access to electricity for all citizens.
