MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has appointed the acting leadership of the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC).

Those appointed are Mohammed Sherif, Acting Managing Director, Eric Augustine Frederick, Acting Deputy Managing Director for Administration, and Thomas Gonkerwon, Acting Deputy Managing Director for Operations.

An Executive Mansion release says the appointments take immediate effect, until the return and confirmation by the Liberian Senate.

In the release issued recently, President Boakai called on appointed officials of the government to continue to demonstrate diligence, commitment, integrity, and loyalty in service to the country.
