MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has donated a huge consignment of medical supplies to the Tellewoyan Hospital in Voinjama, Lofa County.

President Boakai said:” The donation of medical supplies will help cater to the medical needs of the citizens, especially women and children in the county.”

The Liberian Leader reemphasized the Government of Liberia’s determination to improve all sectors of society, including the health needs of the citizens.

He said the government, through the Health Ministry, will continue to collaborate with development partners to ensure that citizens are healthier and more productive.

The President, as part of his visit, also donated five thousand US Dollars to the Management of the hospital.

Meanwhile, the medical staff of the facility, including the management, lauded the President for the gesture, terming it as timely.

At the same time, the Liberian Leader has emphasized the need to provide opportunities for people to achieve their potential and contribute to the growth of their communities.

President Boakai also underscored the role of local businesses in creating jobs and economic growth and the benefits of investing in infrastructure like roads and airstrips.

He made the statement on Monday, December 22, 2024, when he dedicated the “After the Rain Guest House” in Voinjama City.

President Joseph Boakai also called for a collective effort to enhance the quality of life and pride in the country, lauding the management of the facility for the huge initiative.
