Executive Protection Service Suspends Four Officers Indefinitely

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Executive Protection Service (EPS) has suspended, for time indefinite, four of its officers for engaging in unethical conduct.

In a release issued on Thursday, December 5, 2025, the EPS said the suspended officers have been engaged in the act of soliciting money from guests at the President’s residence, the grounds of the Executive Mansion, and during national events.

The EPS termed the act as a gross violation of the principles and ethical standards expected of officers who are to uphold the law and maintain the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.

According to the release, the EPS will remain drastic in executing disciplinary measures, including dismissal against any officer found engaging in misconduct.

The EPS, however, reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that its personnel adhere to the highest ethical standards by reinforcing the trust placed in the Service by the Government and people of Liberia.
