Pres. Boakai Signs Book of Condolences for Fallen Former Lofa County Senator Kupee

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai on Monday signed the Book of Condolence for former Lofa County Senator, Sumo Kupee.

The President was accompanied by several members of his cabinet, including Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Agriculture Minister Alexander Nuetah, and Transport Minister Sirleaf Tyler.

The Monday, November 11, 2024 signing ceremony, which took place at the Rotunda of the National Legislature on Capitol Hill, was witnessed by members of the Liberian Senate and the House of Representatives.

The former Lofa County Senator died at age 65 in Monrovia, after a period of illness, and is expected to be buried this weekend in Lofa County. indicted the Justice System as being one of the root causes of the civil conflict.
