MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Executive Mansion has announced the suspension of three senior officials of the Liberia Refugee Repatriation and Resettlement Commission (LRRRC).

Those suspended are the Executive Director, Patrick Worzie, Deputy Executive Director for Operations, Richard Hoff, and Deputy Executive Director for Administration, Armah Karneh.

According to a release issued recently, the suspension of the officials, which takes immediate effect, followed serious allegations of financial misconduct.

President Joseph Boakai, in the release, instructed all affected personnel to surrender the Liberian Government’s and the LRRRC’s assets to the Commission’s Human Resource Director for further investigation.

Meanwhile, the President has mandated the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) to conduct an impartial investigation into the matter.
