Pres. Boakai Stresses Significance of Skilled, Educated Workforce to Drive Nat’l Dev.

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has underscored the importance of a skilled and educated workforce to drive national development.

President Boakai said:” Liberia needs prepared and educated minds to move the Country to higher heights.”

An Executive Mansion release said the President was speaking during an interactive meeting with the Liberian Community in Rome, Italy, on Tuesday, October 15,2024.

According to the release, the Liberian Leader lauded Liberians in that community for the sacrifices made in pursuit of education abroad.

President Boakai committed the Liberian Government to creating an enabling environment to encourage citizens to return home and contribute their skills and knowledge to nation-building efforts.

President Joseph Boakai also disclosed the Liberian Government’s plans to appoint an Ambassador to Italy to further strengthen Liberia’s relations with the European Community.
