The Head of the Delegation, Tong-Joo Ching, said Liberia can directly benefit from the utilization of its rich soil through agricultural activities.

Mr. Ching said:” The Sector can become a hub for sustainable growth and development if properly managed and supported by the Government of Liberia.”

He spoke at a dinner organized by the Government of Liberia in honor of the Korean Delegation in Paynesville City over the weekend.

The Delegation has been conducting a series of assessments across the Country for possible investment in line with the terms of the recent Korea-Africa Business Summit in Seoul.

Meanwhile, the Government of Liberia has declared Liberia open for investment opportunities.

It said good investment opportunities can drive economic progress and improve the livelihoods of the citizens.

According to ELBC Reporter, the Government’s pronouncement was contained in the remarks by President Joseph Boakai in Paynesville City over the weekend during the dinner.

The Liberian President said:” Such partnership will contribute to the expansion of production and distribution of locally produced food crops such as cassava, palm oil, plantain, and cocoa on the market.”
