MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has consoled President Lazarus Chakwera of Malawi for the death of Vice President Saulos Chilima and nine others in a military plane crash on Monday, June 10.

According to a Foreign Ministry release issued recently, President Boakai expressed profound sadness over the loss of the senior Malawian officials.

He extended sincere condolences to the Government and people of Malawi for the irreparable loss sustained.

President Joseph Boakai prayed that God grants President Lazarus Chikwera strength, courage, and fortitude during their difficult time of national mourning.
