Gov. Dispatches Delegation to Chio Town in Rivercess County

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A Government Delegation is expected in Chio Town, Rivercess County, to identify with survivors and families of the recent mudslide.

The Delegation will be led by Vice President Jeremiah Koung and accompanied by the National Security Advisor, Samuel Kofi-Woods, and others.

In an interview on State Radio on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, Information Minister, Jerolinmek Piah, disclosed that the death toll has risen to fourteen.

An investigation team dispatched recently by the Government of Liberia to the county is back in Monrovia, compiling a comprehensive report on the situation.
