MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Jurors at Criminal Court ‘A’ have handed down a guilty verdict against Aruna Jar for murdering his friend, Allison Jackson, the son of Journalist Clarence Jackson.

Convict Aruna Jar stabbed Allison Jackson multiple times to death on September 30 last year in the Brewerville Community.

During final arguments on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, Defense Lawyers waived the cross-examination on grounds that their client had earlier admitted in open court to stabbing his friend Allison to death, under the influence of alcohol and begged for forgiveness.

Meanwhile, Criminal Court ‘A’ Judge, Roosevelt Willie has announced Tuesday, March 12, 2024, as the sentencing date of Defendant Aruna Jar after a pre-sentencing investigation from the Probation Service of the Ministry of Justice.
