MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Renown Catholic Prelate Robert Tikpor is dead.

Apostolic Administrator Blamo Jugbe has confirmed to ELBC that Monsignor Tikpor died early Thursday morning at the Saint Joseph’s Catholic Hospital, after a protracted illness.

The former clergyman devoted more than sixty years of his life to service to the Catholic Church.

Monsignor was recognized for his eloquent and strong voice in speaking against societal ills during active service.

Dr.Rev. Robert Tikpor was born on September 12, 1926, in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
