GRAND GEDEH COUNTY, LIBERIA-The parents of a twelve-year-old girl reportedly murdered in a gold mining camp in Grand Gedeh County are calling for a speedy trial of the suspect.

Police in the county have since charged and sent to court a thirty-eight-year-old suspect, Mark Danyon, following the commission of the act.

Gracious Yormie was, last Wednesday, August 9, 2023, discovered dead at the Battigen Gold Mining Camp in Grand Gedeh County.

Suspect Mark Danyon is in prison awaiting trial at the Zwedru City Magisterial Court in the county.
