World Bank to Provide Additional $20 Million Dollars…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Youth and Sports Minister Zoegar Wilson, has disclosed that the World Bank has provided additional twenty-million Dollars for youth empowerment in Liberia.

Minister Wilson said:” This amount brings to thirty-million Dollars being provided to Liberia to empower people through various skills training.”

He also said that the French Government is expected to make available additional nine-million Dollars, including an undisclosed amount from the Swedish Government.

Minister Wilson said more young people will be provided job opportunities in various communities to establish their own businesses, among others.

He also disclosed that as part of youth empowerment, a mini hotel will be built in the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex Community for students at BOOTC, with the provision of state-of-the-art equipment for students at the Monrovia, Vocational Training Center (MVTC).
