“Service-based institutions could make greater impact…”-Dr. Kateh

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Francis Kateh, says service-based institutions in Liberia could make a greater impact on the lives of the citizens.

Dr. Kateh said:” To achieve institutional goal, effective service delivery is fundamental for the overall advancement of any functional entity.”

The Deputy Health Minister was speaking over the weekend in Paynesville City, when the New Sight Eye Center certificated several of its partners for their support.

He praised the Center for aligning its vision and mission with passion in the eye healthcare services.

Meanwhile, New Sight Eye Center Board Chair, Boakai Ngiama, has proposed the appropriation of allotment in the National Budget to eye healthcare.

Mr. Ngiama said:” Eye services are provided in Liberia by the Center through private-partnership, including the Health Ministry.”

He said that financial allotment to eye healthcare could assist the New Sight Eye Center and other eye healthcare providers to extend their services across the Country.

Also speaking, New Sight Eye Center Chief Executive Officer, Robert Dolo, thanked partners for their continuous support to the entity and vowed to make eye healthcare accessible and affordable to the people.
