Montserrado County Senatorial Aspirant wants legislators excluded…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A senatorial aspirant of Montserrado County wants members of the National Legislature excluded in the management of the County and Social Development Funds of their respective counties.

Mr. Wilmot Paye argued that the legislators cannot be the one making the appropriation of the money and at the same time managing it.

Mr. Paye said:” The exclusion of the lawmakers will enable them to hold accountable individuals who will be managing the County and Social Development Funds.”

Speaking on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, to ELBC, the former People’s Liberation Party National Chairman said the two policies initiated under former President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf were intended to accelerate development across the Country.
