Press. Union upset by arson attack on Radio Kintoma in Voinjama…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) is upset by an arson attack on Radio Kintoma in Voinjama, Lofa County.

Radio Kintoma is located in the Voinjama Administrative Compound, adjacent the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court and local government offices.

The Union, in a recent press release, called for a full-scale speedy investigation into the burning of Radio Kintoma’s facilities.

It said the arrest and prosecution of perpetrators in the arson attack on the local radio station, in line with the laws of Liberia, will serve as an important deterrence.

This is the second time in six weeks that a radio station in Lofa County has been attacked

It can be recalled that on March 5, this year, Radio Tamba-tiakor in Foyah District was attacked in similar fashion by unknown individuals.
