MONROVIA, LIBERIA – President George Weah has congratulated the government and people of Ukraine on the occasion making the country’s Independence Day.
Ukraine marks 30 years of Independence on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. I a massage to his Ukraine counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky President Weah extended sincere best wishes on behalf of the government and people of Liberia and in his own name.
The Liberian leader expressed excitement in the healthy relationship between Liberia and Ukraine and promised his government’s commitment to further strengthening cooperation in the context of bilateral engagements.
He further said it is ardent hope that he and President Zelensky would explore more rewarding spheres that are mutually beneficial; including agriculture, trade, health, education and technology.
