National Patriotic Party reacts to statement that it was empty frame before joining the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC)

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Patriotic Party has term as untrue remarks attributed former Representative Gabriel Nyekan that the NPP was an empty frame prior to joining the Coalition for Democratic Change.

In a statement issued by its National Chairman, Senator James Binney, April 16, 2021, said the NPP remains one of Liberia’s most vibrant democratic political institutions.

Senator Biney said such comments from Gabriel Nyenkan is wrong and could be misconstrued by some to be views shared by people of the highest level in government, which if allowed will further undermine the strength of the Coalition.

Senator Biney said, the party’s Standard Bearer Madam Jewel Howard Taylor remains focused on utilizing her energy and depth to improve Liberia.
