MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government has begun the adjustments of direct replacement, employment and promotions at line Ministries and Agencies.

According to a directive from the Joint Payroll Reform and Management Team, the adjustments will take one month, following the submission of payrolls by the entities.

The Team said:” The process is being done through the Civil Service Agency or the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, where necessary.”

The Directive is quoted as saying at the end of the exercise, civil servants’ salaries will be disabused on time and ensure the proper recording of personnel data.

The Joint Payroll Reform and Management Team has also announced that, while the process is ongoing, a more detailed policy on replacement in the Civil Service is being prepared.

Meanwhile, the Team has named suspension, removal from the payroll and changes of account details, among others as adjustment to be made immediately during the process.
