MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has appointed Mr. Sarwoloday Doe as District Superintendent of Buah Statutory District, in Grand Kru County.

Mr. Doe replaces former Superintendent Sylvester Tugbeh.

President Weah also appointed Mrs. Beatrice Mooney-Senyon as Mayor of Atlantic City in Trehn District, Grand Kru County.

According to Executive Mansion released issued Tuesday, October 13, 2020, the appointments followed several consultations and recommendations from the Grand Kru County Legislative Caucus.

In a letter dated September 15, 2020, to the Office of President Weah,, the Caucus said the recommendations are aimed at enhancing and meeting Government’s Pro-Poor Agenda in the County.

Meanwhile, the appointments are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate, where applicable.
