Fight against illicit drug trade, narcotic users in Liberia-Senator Browne

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Maryland County Senator is calling for an all-inclusive fight against illicit drug trade and narcotic users in Liberia.

According to Senator Gblebo Browne, illicit drug and users are gradually overtaken Liberia.

He disclosed that one of the sectors where illicit drug and users are on the increase is in the various mining areas, throughout the Country.

The Maryland County Lawmaker said:” Operators of mining areas give the substance to young miners to energize them to overwork.”

Senator Browne said:” The situation is endangering the future of the country’s youthful population and threatening the security of the Country.”
