President Weah Makes New Appointments in Government

President George Weah, has made additional nominations in Government affecting the Ministries of Commerce and Industry, Labor and the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA).

Those appointed are Cllr. Charles Gibson, Minister of Labour, replacing Moses Kollie who has now been appointed as the New Director General of the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA).

The President has also appointed Zoe Mensah as Assistant Minister for Trade Union Affairs to complete the latest leadership changes at the Ministry of Labor.

At the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Mr. George D. Wolo is now the New Deputy Minister/Commerce while Thomas Goba is appointed as Deputy Minister/Industry.

An Executive Mansion release says these appointments, made on Tuesday October 6, 2020, are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate where applicable.
