Liberia makes progress in fight against COVID-19 – Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Francis Kateh

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Liberia’s Chief Medical officer says significant progress has been made in the fight against COVID 19.

Dr. Francis Kateh said with the number of active cases at twenty six, it is a clear indication that the Government and people have well in combating the virus.

Dr. Kateh was speaking Tuesday when he appeared on the program Health Hour.

He is at the same time calling on citizens to avoid being complacent saying the fight against the virus is not yet over until Liberia is completely free of COVID 19.

Meanwhile, Dr. Francis Kateh has reiterated his call on travelers to make use of seventy hour pre testing prior to their departure.

He said this will give health authorities amber time to get their results.
