Roberts Field Highway projects will continue, despite COVID-19 pandemic-Public Works Minister

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Public Works Ministry Mobutu Nyenpan says despite the Coronavirus pandemic in the Country, the Roberts Field Highway Project will be implemented as scheduled.

Minister Nyenpan said:” Clearing has begun on the RIA Highway to jump-start the project as funds for the project have been secured.”

The Public Works Minister named some of the ongoing projects as the Gabriel Tucker Bridge to St. Paul Bridge Corridor, rehabilitation of pot holes and drainages among others.

Minister Nyenpan said that road projects are ongoing throughout the Country, stressing that the bad road is a recipe that could stall development. Minister Mobutu Nyenpan spoke Tuesday, May 19, 2020, via mobile phone in an ELBC interview.
