Information and Justice Ministers Recovered From COVID-19

Monrovia, Liberia – The Ministers of Information and Justice have been discharged from the 14 Military Hospital after receiving treatment for Covid-19.

Ministers Eugene Nagbe and Musa Dean were, in April, tested positive of Covid-19 after attending a high-level joint-security meeting from where another government official died and later tested positive of the virus.

Along with others that have recovered from Covid-19, Information Minister, Eugene Nagbe, was discharged on Monday, May 11 while Justice Minister, Musa Dean, was released on Tuesday, May 12.

Liberia’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Francis Kateh, told ELBC that Ministers Nagbe and Dean, along with others discharged recently, tested negative of the Covid-19.

Dr. Kateh said those discharged recently from the 14 Military Hospital, including the two Ministers, bring the number of Coronavirus survivals to more the one hundred.
