MONROVIA, LIBERIA (Jarp Davies Reports) – Liberian Muslims have been urged to uphold the doctrine of Islam.

The Executive Director of Alpha Foundation in Liberia, Sheik Askari Kromah, wants Muslims avoid insincerity and maintain the practices of the religion.

Sheik Kromah is also urging Muslims to get involved in charitable ventures, saying that is one way the Quran instructs them to serve.

He made the call Thursday in Grand Cape Mount, when Muslims in the county gathered to memorialize the daughter of Prophet Mohammed.

According to ELBC Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent, Mark Rogers, Sheik Kromah is also Muslims in the County to take advantage of the Islamic school to educate especially children about the religion.
