Gov. of Liberia, African Dev. Bank signed agreements

MONROVIA, LIBERIA (Zoquay Beysolow Konneh Reports)-The Government of Liberia and the African Development Bank have signed two agreements worth more than thirty- four- million United States Dollars.

The agreements are in support of the Government’s Pro-Poor Development Agenda in the areas of the renewable Energy, Electrification and investment promotion in Liberia.

The project for renewable Energy for Electrification seeks to benefit seven-thousand households in the Country.

Speaking Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at the signing ceremony, Finance Minister Samuel Tweah said:” Electricity is significant factor for the development of Liberia’s economy.”

Minister Tweah said the signing of the agreement is a big boost for the energy sector of the Country.
