World Bank gives two buses to A.M. Dogliotti College of Medicine

MONROVIA,LIBEERIA (BST RELEASE)-The World Bank Liberia Country Officer has provided two buses to the A.M. Dogliotti College of Medicine of the University of Liberia.

Making the presentation Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the Ministry of Health, World Bank Liberia Country Manager Dr.Khwima Nthara said:” The vehicles will maximize use of the newly constructed dormitories and clinical skills laboratory at the Fendell Campus.”

Dr.Nthara appealed to the College and Health Ministry for proper maintenance of the vehicles.

Receiving the keys to the vehicles, Health Minister Dr.Wilhelmina Jallah thanked the World Bank for the gesture, describing the donation as a fulfillment of its earlier promise to the health sector.

Minister Jallah praised the bank for its continued support to the Health Workforce Program (HWP), one of the key pillars of the Ministry’s Investment Plan for a Resilient Health System.

Speaking on behalf of the University of Liberia Administration, the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Forestry, Dr.Moses Zinnah, thanked the bank and Ministry for the vehicles.
