Firestone Inhabitants appeals for Gov’t interventions to ensure Du-River Bridge construction

MONROVIA, LIBERIA (John Kumeh) – Inhabitants of Firestone are appealing to government and the management of the Firestone Plantations Management to ensure the commencement of construction of the Du-River Bridge in Lower Margibi County.

ELBC Lower Margibi County Correspondent said there has being delayed in the construction of the Bridge which is due to the contractor reported failure to sign a bond requested by the management of Firestone for the construction to commence.

A bond is a written and signed promise to pay a certain sum or a fulfillment of a specified condition.

Our Correspondent, also disclosure that the delay is said to be posing serious challenge to the inhabitants of the area.
