MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia has congratulated Turkey on the occasion of the celebration of the country’s National Day on October 29, 2026.

In a message to his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President Joseph Boakai stressed the need to strengthen bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of both nations.

A Foreign Ministry dispatch said the Liberian Leader also admonished the strong partnership, growth, and development in the Mining and other sectors.

He noted that his government appreciates the Government and people of Turkey for supporting the aspirations of Liberians in the areas of health, education, agriculture, and capacity building.

President Joseph Boakai then extended sincere best wishes to President Erdogan as he leads the people of Turkey to sustained peace and prosperity.
