“Liberia stands ready to partner with U.S Gov…”-Pres. Boakai

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai says Liberia stands ready to partner with the United States Government in achieving the interests of the Liberian people.

The President particularly underscored the country’s readiness to expend investments in key areas of the ARREST Agenda.

President Boakai believes that such investment is crucial to improving economic growth and promoting development initiatives in the interests of both nations.

The Liberian Leader described the US as a strategic partner to Liberia’s progress and reiterated the government’s support to further cement such partnership.

President Boakai remarked on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, in Monrovia when the incoming US Embassy Chargé d’Affaires, Kristin Gilmore, and delegation paid him a courtesy visit.

At the same time, the US Government has disclosed plans to forge a deeper partnership between Liberia and the US in key sectors of governance.

These sectors include energy, agriculture, healthcare, and education to expand growth and foster economic development.

Gilmore expressed optimism about advancing strategic bilateral discussions that aim at strengthening the already existing bond of friendship.

She hailed the Liberian Government for the efforts being undertaken to promote inclusive development that addresses the needs of the ordinary Liberians.
