Youth and Sports Ministry Opens Small Skills Grant Program Application in Margibi County

MARGIBI COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Youth and Sports has officially opened applications for its small skills Grant program for young people under the age of thirty-five in Margibi County.

The application process is taking place at the Harbel Multilateral High School to support youth in acquiring business skills.

According to our Correspondent, the Ministry’s coordinator, Varney Taroe, said more than seventy-five successful applicants will each receive grants of over LD thirty thousand dollars.

This will help establish or expand their skills-based businesses, in a move Mr. Taroe described as the first of its kind in Margibi County.

He noted that the initiative demonstrates the Ministry’s commitment to empowering young people through entrepreneurship and skills development.
