US Chargé d’Affaires Reaffirms US Gov’s Commitment…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Chargé dAffaires of the American Embassy near Monrovia, Joseph Zadrozny, has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to strengthening the Liberian government’s capacity in dismantling organized drug trafficking networks.

‎Zadrozny committed during a follow-up meeting with Justice Minister Cllr. Oswald Tweh on Thursday, on the ongoing drug investigations in the Country.

‎According to a Justice Ministry release, the meeting focused on continued cooperation between Liberia and the United States in the fight against drug trafficking.

‎For his part, Justice Minister Cllr Oswald Tweh welcomed the continued partnership, noting that the U.S. technical personnel are currently working alongside their Liberian Counterparts to support the investigations.

‎The Head of the Joint Security Investigative Taskforce also reaffirmed that the investigations will remain thorough, impartial, and evidence-based.
