MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency has described as false and misleading allegations that its Officer-in-Charge, Fitzgerald Biago, has received a Toyota pickup truck from an individual allegedly linked to drug trafficking.
The LDEA says the allegation, which is circulating on social media, has not been supported by any verifiable evidence.
In a statement issued on Friday, August 7, 2026, the Agency quotes DCP Biago as saying he has never received or accepted the vehicle in question as being reported on social media.
Meanwhile, the LDEA is encouraging anyone with credible evidence of misconduct to present it to the appropriate investigative authorities.
The Agency is also urging the public and media to verify allegations before publishing or sharing them on social media.
