MONROVIA, LIBERIA-‎The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency has described as false and misleading allegations that its Officer-in-Charge, Fitzgerald Biago, has received a Toyota pickup truck from an individual allegedly linked to drug trafficking.

‎The LDEA says the allegation, which is circulating on social media, has not been supported by any verifiable evidence.

‎In a statement issued on Friday, August 7, 2026, the Agency quotes DCP Biago as saying he has never received or accepted the vehicle in question as being reported on social media.

‎Meanwhile, the LDEA is encouraging anyone with credible evidence of misconduct to present it to the appropriate investigative authorities.

‎The Agency is also urging the public and media to verify allegations before publishing or sharing them on social media.
