LOFA COUNTY, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai says the Mendikorma-Voinjama Road corridor will have a long-term benefit, especially for young people travelling to acquire quality education.
President Boakai also said,” The road will reduce travel time for business people, mainly market women who often incur losses due to bad roads”.
Speaking at the official groundbreaking of the road corridor, President Boakai recounted the long sufferings the people of the region have endured.
The Liberian Leader said,” Completion of the road will open up the region to businesses, quality education, healthcare, and connect with cross-border communities”.
President Boakai reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring that roads are prioritized to bring relief to the people of Liberia.
