Morocco, Zambia Reaffirm Commitment to Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation…

The Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Zambia reaffirmed, on Thursday, their shared commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in several sectors, in accordance with the vision and will of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President of the Republic of Zambia Hakainde Hichilema.

This commitment was expressed during talks held in Rabat between Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Zambia Mulambo Haimbe, currently on a working visit to Morocco.

While welcoming the growing momentum in Morocco-Zambia ties and the shared commitment to elevate the bilateral partnership to new heights of ambition and mutual benefit, the two ministers identified a range of areas with significant potential.

These areas will be the focus of future cooperation projects, particularly in sectors of energy and mining, sustainable development, education and scholarships, scientific research and innovation, as well as health and social protection, with a view to the next Joint Commission meeting.
