Nat’l Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority’s Boss Says All is Set to Host 2026 Kpongama National Fisheries Investment Conference

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Director General of the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority (NaFFA), Cyrus Saygbe, says all is now set for the commencement of the 2026 Kpongama National Fisheries Investment Conference in Liberia.

The conference, scheduled for March 30 to 31, 2026, at the Farmington Hotel in Margibi County, aims to attract investment and promote sustainable development in Liberia’s blue economy.

Speaking on the ‘Super Morning Show’ on Thursday, March 26, 2026, Saygbe disclosed that stakeholders from about twenty Countries will converge in Liberia for the Conference.

The NaFFA boss noted that discussions will focus on strengthening the fisheries sector as a driver for economic growth and job creation, among other priorities.

He further revealed that during the conference, Liberia will introduce three bankable proposals and sign three major partnership agreements to boost the country’s fisheries sector.
