Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency Releases Reports…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency has released reports as part of its nationwide operations for the months of January and February 2026.

 The reports indicated that there were 170 suspects arrested and 331.84 kg of illicit drugs confiscated.

Speaking on the report at the Ministry of Information Press briefing in Monrovia on Thursday, March 2026, Deputy Information Minister for Press and Public Affairs, Daniel Sando, disclosed that all suspects have been investigated, charged, and forwarded to court.

Minister Sando said the DEA continues to strengthen reforms, enhance operational capacity, aligning with international best practices.

The DEA has collaborated with other partners, including the Ministry of Justice, joint security, and international partners, and has since expressed gratitude for a high level of collaboration.
