MONROVIA, LIBERIA-An off-duty officer of the Liberia National Police (LNP) identified as Austin Dolo, has allegedly stabbed his son-in-law during a confrontation at his residence in New Jerusalem Community, Lower Johnsonville.
The incident reportedly occurred on Saturday night, March 14, 2026.
According to eyewitness accounts provided to ELBC Reporter, the trouble began when Officer Dolo and his wife got into a bitter argument at their home.
Witnesses claim that during the heated exchange, the officer armed himself with a knife, allegedly stating that he would defend himself if anyone attempted to attack him on his property.
The situation is said to have escalated dramatically when the couple’s son-in-law, identified only as “Baby,” arrived at their home during the confrontation.
Witnesses told ELBC that shortly after his arrival, a physical conflict broke out between “Baby” and suspect Dolo, during which the officer allegedly stabbed the victim.
Following the stabbing, community members rushed him to a nearby clinic to receive urgent medical treatment.
Meanwhile, the suspect is at large.
