MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has launched the 2026 National Ramadan Rice Distribution in Monrovia.

The exercise is part of the President’s annual contribution to members of the Muslim Community during the month of Ramadan.

The Minister of State without Portfolio, Mamaka Bility, launched the rice distribution exercise on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, on behalf of President Joseph Boakai.

According to Minister Bility, the annual process is targeting several mosques across Montserrado and other counties, as well as the vulnerable population.

Minister Bility conveyed the President’s appreciation to the Muslim Community for their continued intercession on behalf of the nation and people.

Meanwhile, the benefiting mosques, in separate remarks, lauded the President for the gesture and promised to continuously pray for Liberia’s peace and prosperity.
