Veteran Liberian Journalist Loboe Dies…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Veteran Liberian Journalist Frank Loboe, widely known as “Dogg Palm”, has died, family sources confirmed to ELBC.

News of his passing surfaced in the media on Sunday, January 11, 2026, following a period of critical illness.

Loboe, formerly of the Liberia Broadcasting System, was deeply loved by his exceptional, passionate, and unforgettable commentary during the National County Sports Meet.

His death is being described as a major loss to the Liberian media, where he was recognized for his years of dedicated and influential work.
