Records Agency (CNDRA) has launched a over 12-million United States Dollars, Five-Year Strategic Plan.
CNDAR’s Director General, Nelson Bearngar, said,” The plan aims to transform national records management between 2026 and 2030”.
Director Bearngar disclosed that the plan is intended to also guide the transformation of the National Archives, and ensure that its programs and activities fully support the Liberian Government’s ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID).
Speaking at the launching ceremony over the weekend in Monrovia, Bearngar said,” Key areas of priority include modernization of CNDRA’s infrastructure, digitization of national records, decentralization of archival services, and improved customer service delivery”.
Bearngar explained that additional focus areas of the plan include expanding oral history collections across Liberia, strengthening institutional capacity, and constructing a National Library System.
